Paddling the
waters of SW Florida and beyond

April 6 Fishing at Bunch Beach 8 am
Bunche beach is at the end of John Morris rd
Going towards the Sanibel causeway turn left at John
Morris go to the end. This is an excellent place to paddle and
fish and there are canals to duck into if it is windy . Just about
anything can be caught there. Bring all necessary fishing and kayak
equiptment and license and huge ice chest to store all the big ones in.
Hope to see as many as can there.

Just a word about leading a paddle
#1 you don't have to be an expert on anything
Its easy .. all you do is come up with a place
that either you have been to and want to share or a place that you want to go
and explore. Do a little research and state directions on how to get
there and what type of paddle it is rate it from easy to intermediate to
advanced to difficult. It you are not sure then just state that we
are all here to help each other.. Set date and time convenient to you and post
it.

I have met some of you thru the store and various
paddles but I know that my emails go out to people I have never met. I
am unable to attend paddle meetings as work prevails over pleasure. I
cannot paddle on the weekends as I work 7 am to 11 pm sat and sun and the
weekends I take off are spent loving my grandchildren. I hope
someday to paddle with each of you at some point or another .
If at any time someone wants to lead a paddle I plan
please let me know This is an great way to get your feet wet. This
club needs members...we need planned paddles and allot of them as no one can
attend all paddles we need a selection .... we need
people to get involved and make this club the best it can be each
one of you is important and I know that I can learn from each of you. I
am a volunteer guide at the six mile cypress slough preserve I learn so
much from the people that come in for me to take around the preserve.
Leading a group is a wonderful rewarding
experience so do not be afraid of leading a trip we are all out there
for the same thing
to have a fun safe experience on the water.
