Matlacha / Pine Island

Cleanup April 19

Hi everyone,

Wanted you to mark your calendars for April 19 for the Pine Island / Matlacha Clean-up.  We will be meeting as a club at the Park in Matlacha at 8:30am.  We want to be out on the water at 9am sharp!  Garbage bags and gloves will be supplied so we can pick up trash around the mangroves and shoreline.  Make sure you bring your PFD, plenty of water, sunscreen and bug spray (if needed).  We will split up in groups and go different directions. Great time to practice using your GPS.   We all have to be back to the park and loaded up about 11:30 so we can go to the Elks Lodge at the four corners where the dumpster will be. 

The Pine Island gang will have hotdogs, chips and drinks for all and at noon our picture will be taken with everyone.  This is a wonderful community event for us to participate in.  

 

So please come, we need your help! !
